Nvidia B300: The New Performance King

For researchers pushing the boundaries of protein design, the B300 represents the pinnacle of current GPU acceleration. Built on the advanced Blackwell architecture, the B300 offers substantial improvements over the B200, making it the ideal choice for time-sensitive projects or extremely large protein targets.

Key advantages of the B300 over the B200 include:

  • 55% Faster Compute: 14 PFLOPS of dense FP4 performance (vs. 9 PFLOPS on B200) accelerates AI inference and training.
  • Massive Memory: 288 GB of HBM3E memory (vs. 180 GB) allows for significantly larger models and batch sizes.
  • Higher Bandwidth: 8 TB/s memory bandwidth ensures data moves as fast as it computes.

Users can now run BindCraft/FreeBindCraft jobs with the B300 immediately. BoltzGen is currently not compatible with the B300, but we anticipate adding support as soon as compatibility updates are released by the Boltz Bio team.

RTX 6000 Pro: Professional Power, Accessible Price

Bridging the gap between consumer cards and data-center flagships, the RTX 6000 Pro offers professional-grade reliability and substantial VRAM comparable to the H-series chips. It is an excellent workhorse for standard inference tasks, providing more memory than the L40S while maintaining a lean price point. It offers compelling value with performance rivaling an H100 at a competitive price.
