7. Settings
Customize your Ariax Bio account, login methods, and email preferences. The Settings page is organized into two main sections accessed via tabs.
7.1 Login Methods
Manage how you sign in to your Ariax Bio account. This tab shows your current authentication methods and allows you to add or modify them.
Authentication Status
- Email Users: Shows "OTP Login ✅ Enabled" as the primary authentication method
- Google Users: Shows "Google Authentication ✅ Active" with information about Google-managed security
Adding or Changing a Password (Email Users)
If you created your account with email and OTP, you can add or change your password:
- Navigate to the Login Methods tab in Settings
- Find the "Add or Change Password" section
- Enter your desired password and confirm it
- Click Save Password
- You'll receive a success message: "Password saved successfully! You can now sign in with either password or verification code on your next login."
Once saved, you can sign in using either your password or by requesting an OTP code—both methods work interchangeably.
Google Account Users
If you signed up with Google OAuth, your authentication is managed entirely by Google. You'll see a notice that login methods are handled by your Google account, and password options won't be available.
7.2 Email Settings
Configure which email notifications you receive for various account activities.
Notification Categories
Adjust which notifications you receive for:
- Project Events: Created, paused, aborted, completed, errors
- Billing Updates: Low balance alerts, payment receipts, auto top-up notifications
Managing Notifications
- Switch to the Email Settings tab
- Use the toggles to enable or disable specific notification types
- Click Save Notification Settings to apply your changes
- A confirmation message will appear when settings are successfully updated
7.3 Saving Changes
- Login Methods: Password additions are applied immediately upon successful submission
- Email Settings: Click Save Notification Settings to persist notification preference changes
- Discarding Changes: For email settings, navigate away or refresh to discard unsaved changes
Your login method changes take effect immediately, allowing you to use your new password right away for future sign-ins.
